Here's the next installment of my Seasonal Special Block wall Hanging series for Month 3! If you want the instructions that I made for everyone on piecing them together, just shoot me a message!
2015 Seasonal Special Block Wall Hanging Series
Unit #3 (Make 2) Notice Placement difference with
pieces!
Finished Block Size
is 10 x 10
Cutting:
a) Make a total of (44) Half-Square Triangles at 1 ½” x 1
½”. They finish at 1” when sewn in.
Note: 2 sets of 16 make the quilt square and 2 sets of 6 are an accent row (see
diagram) (1” Finished Thangles!)
b) Cut (52) 1 ½” x 1
½” squares OR if you are only using 2 colors - sew two 1 ½”strips together and
cut 26 two patch units to save time
c) Cut 2 pieces to 1 ½”
x 6 ½””
d) Will be 8 Flying Geese Units .
d1) Cut 8
rectangles 2 ½” x 4 ½”.
d2) Cut
(16) 2 ½” x 2 ½” squares in color
pairs.
e) Cut 2 pieces 1 ½” x 5 ½”
f) There are 2 measurements for the small inside frames -
Cut 4 pieces 1” x 4 ½ ” AND Cut 4 pieces
1” x 5 ½”
